It’s market day at the Schoolhouse! Located at 287 Hayden Creek Road, Coaldale, CO 81222. We are at the intersection of County Road 6 and County Road 45. Hours are 4-6 or when we sell out. Fall’s in the air and there will be some great veggies, baked goods, tamales, A2A2 dairy, eggs, herbal preparations, Chai and ice cream! Historical literature, jewelry, jams and jellies, note cards, lotions and potions, adaptogenic mushrooms, honey, hand sewn goods, hat bands, pottery and more!

Hello from Appleworm. There’s a hint of fall on the farm now, we’ve had some rejuvenating rain, and we’re eating some delectable sweet corn . We are feeling refreshed. We’ve been eating so much of the corn that I’m not sure how much will make it to market, but we will have some. We will also be bringing Cauliflower, Carrots, Red & Gold Beets, Lettuce, Turnips, Napa Cabbage, Swiss Chard, Kale, several kinds of Squash, Green Beans, Broccoli, Basil, and Sage. In the kitchen we are concocting 3 types of Nut Breads, Coconut-Pecan-Chocolate Chip Cookies, Sweet & Spicy Sauce, and Honey-Whole Wheat Bread. Market is this Wednesday, 8/26 from 4-6 at 287 Hayden Creek Road, Coaldale, CO 81222, at the intersection of County Road 6 and County Road 45. Come visit the historic Schoolhouse and learn about its rich history from the Western Fremont historical society! Shop and stroll with an ice cream sundae or soda. Summer vegetables and fruits are in full swing and we are hoping that both corn and pears will be available this week. There’s been lots of squash, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, beets, onions, garlic and August tomatoes are coming in. There are both gluten free and regular breads and other delicious baked goods. Gifts galore! Note cards and art. Jewelry and hat bands. Pottery, herbal preparations, adaptogenic mushrooms. Chai and cinnamon rolls. Tie dye and magnets. Tamales and cookies. Pepper jelly, jams and local seasonal jelly. Eggs, A2A2 dairy and maybe some sausage this week! Come see your neighbors and see what you’ve been missing! Doors open at 4 when the school bell rings.

Oh boy! Market is Wednesday 8/19 from 4-6 at 287 Hayden Creek Road, Coaldale, CO 81222. We are at the intersection of County Road 6 and County Road 45. Summer crops are in full swing and there will be about 25 vendors with baked goods, eggs, A2 dairy, gifts, jams, Historical literature, ice cream, local grass finished meats, pottery, herbal products, jewelry, chai, tie dye and delcious treats. Hello again. We’ve heard rumors of rain in the valley, but here at the farm it’s been pretty easy to “walk between the raindrops, dry as a bone,” to steal a line from a James McMurtry song. We are harvesting some pretty nice goods from the garden now, and at Market we will have Green Beans, Carrots, Broccoli, Summer Squashes, Delicatas, Swiss Chard, Kale, Red & Gold Beets, Arugula, Basil, Turnips, and Napa Cabbages. In the Kitchen we are cooking up 3 kinds of Nut Breads, Cookies, Sweet & Spicy Sauce, and Honey-Whole Wheat Bread. We’ll see you at the market between 4 and 6 on Wednesday. Deb & Byron
