Last night’s dinner was a good one 🍅🧄

Last night I made a roasted tomato cream sauce with Romanian Red meatballs, and it turned out even better than I hoped! For the sauce, I used some roasted California Early garlic. It’s one of our milder varieties, and roasting brings out a sweet, mellow flavor that paired perfectly with the roasted tomatoes and vegetables. For the meatballs- Romanian Red. It’s a much stronger garlic, so just two grated cloves mixed into the meat added plenty of bold garlic flavor.

The sweet, roasted notes from the California Early and the rich kick from the Romanian Red made for a pretty incredible combination.
