Our current apple selection includes Ida Red, Granny Smith, and Cortland varieties. Ida Reds are renowned for their keeping qualities and are well-suited for holiday baking, including pies, crisp, and sauce. We invite you to visit us before our apples are gone. Just started picking the Bartlett pears and Italian prunes. I also have Blondie apples and on some days tomatoes, peppers and eggplant. Planning on starting McIntosh sometime next week.

During the third week of September, we still have a bountiful harvest of tomatoes, both slicing and paste varieties, sweet peppers, and eggplant. Bartlett pears and Italian prunes are currently available. We've just started picking Macintosh apples and still have some Zestar in stock. Although I'm sold out of apples for the season, I still have plenty of good tomatoes growing in one of the high tunnels. I probably have 30 lb or more and they would go to the first person that texts or calls me. These are a combination of Amish paste, Cipolla's Pride and Blue Beech. They are all in the Roma family, few seeds and juice in them. They cook up thicker and make a great sauce!

Today, September 23rd, we have Cortland and Spartan apples. Both apples are incredibly tasty, and they are both great for making sauce and pies. Only open until two today.

Today, Saturday, September 9th will be open from 10:00 until 2:00. We've got Zestar and Blondie apples, sweet peppers and some Anaheim's, tomatoes and some pears. We are now in the heart of the cling-free peach season! I'm picking Red Haven peaches morning and night to sell during the day. These are excellent for eating, freezing, canning, making pies and did I mention eating?! My hours are going to be limited over the next several days due to the heat, but I expect to be open at least from 10:00 until 1:00 for pickup. If you're interested in calling ahead to order some and be assured that they'll be here when you arrive, please do so. That number is 509-808-6885. I do sell out each day. And if we have to set up an alternative time for you to pick them up, we can do so.

Just a few boxes of Early Red Haven peaches available now. These are great for eating but difficult to can because the fruit adheres to the stone. Cling-free peaches will begin ripening sometime next week, possibly Tuesday. I also have Lodi apples and some tomatoes available Wednesday and Thursday. Not a lot of the paste tomatoes yet, but they are coming! These Italian heirloom tomatoes are great for eating, slicing on sandwiches or making sauce. The Black Krim are wonderful for slicing and eating.
