Established in 2007, Cold Spring Farm is a year-round, full diet, full heart farm located in East Haddam, Connecticut, a historically agricultural landscape. It comprises of 300 acres of pasture, hay fields, vegetable gardens, and forestland above Lake Hayward, and is home to hens, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, turkeys, ducks, peacocks, and an abundance of wildlife. The farm is nature-focused, produci
ng an abundant selection of mouth-watering heirloom produce and fruits, as well as gorgeous herbs and flowers, delicious eggs from our happy hens and ducks, dairy products, as well as beef, pork, chicken, and lamb. In addition, Cold Spring Farm operates a year-round CSA, or Community Supported Agriculture. Our Farm Stand is open daily from dawn ‘til dusk, all year-round, and is based on the honor-system. CSF’s products can also be found in Connecticut restaurants, at independent grocery stores, on University campuses, and at both the East Haddam and Colchester Farmers' Markets. We host events on the farm throughout the year, including Stargazing Nights and the Winter Harvest Farmers’ Market.
