Detour routes for I89 Exit 17 closure
Sunday, Nov. 17 - Friday, Nov. 22 (8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly)

COLCHESTER - Interstate 89 (I-89) northbound and southbound at Exit 17 will be CLOSED to all traffic for several nights from 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. to facilitate the installation of structural steel girders for the new U.S. 2 bridge over I-89.

The work is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 17 through Friday, Nov. 22, between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. nightly.

During these nighttime closures, traffic will be maintained via detour routes. Temporary traffic control signage and portable changeable message boards will be installed along the detour routes to guide travelers.
