A little schedule update from Back Yonder Farms…

We won’t be at Sedalia Area Farmers' Market tomorrow (Tuesday).

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of baking, markets, and orders, and a few farm and home projects have been getting pushed farther down the list. We’re taking a couple of days to catch up before jumping back into the kitchen.

We’ll be back at the market on Friday, and orders are now open for Friday pickup.

Thanks for keeping us busy—we appreciate every one of you!

Good morning from Radar and the rest of the BYF crew. . He’s retired from showing, bored out of his mind, and apparently now works full-time in security testing and escape room design.

RiOak May Market is open, and we’re ready for another fun day in beautiful downtown Cole Camp.

We baked extra for yesterday’s Sedalia Area Farmers' Market & today’s event at RiOak Western Design. The girls loaded up for market, our customers showed up in a big way, and all we could say was, “Wow.”

So it was back to the kitchen last night and early this morning to do it all again.

Today you’ll find bagels, cookies, Italian Herbs & Cheese bread, Jalapeño Cheddar bread, gluten-free cakes, and sweet roll bites at our booth.

We’re here until 3:00. Stop by, say hello, and see what all the baking was about.

We’ve been busy in the kitchen and the garden getting ready for Sedalia Area Farmers' Market on Friday.

We’ll have fresh-picked, pesticide free cucumbers, cabbage, broccoli, and zucchini, along with pastured eggs and our pastured chicken (raised on pasture, fed certified organic feed, and always medication free).

One market this weekend apparently wasn’t enough for us. 😅

We’ll be at Sedalia Area Farmers Market on Friday from 3-6 PM, then headed to downtown Cole Camp on Saturday for the RiOak May Market. Ashley invited us to take part, and we always love getting to be part of RiOak events.

From the looks of things, she and her crew have been pulling some really neat vintage finds and unique pieces out of storage, plus pottery classes will be happening during the event too. Sounds like a pretty fun Saturday in Cole Camp.

We’ll be bringing a full lineup of fresh baked goods, bagels, breads, cookies, sweet rolls, and more both days while they last. And honestly, with our crazy schedule, we don’t get to see our Cole Camp friends nearly as often as we’d like anymore… so stop by and visit awhile. Maybe pick up a loaf of bread or a cookie or two while you’re there. 😉

Fresh broccoli, cherry tomatoes, bagels, cookies, bread… Sedalia Area Farmers' Market day is here. 🙌

We could’ve used a holiday weekend and a couple days out of the kitchen, but the broccoli had other ideas. 😂 Once broccoli is ready, you pick it. Leave it too long once the weather turns warm and it’ll bolt faster than people leaving work on Friday afternoon.

So while most people were relaxing, we were baking, harvesting, washing produce, and getting ready for market today.

Tay & Shaunna are holding down the fort at market while we’re off hauling sweet potato plants . Honestly, they probably run the booth better without us anyway. 😅
