Faced with significantly inclement weather forecasts, the borough shuts down its Memorial Day weekend celebration. Vendors and small business owners are seeking creative ways to recoup sunk costs, while May Fair organizers urge the community to shop local and help bail them out.

Hey Collingswood, Kim (Market Director) here with some not-so-fun news on this Friday afternoon.

If you missed the announcement earlier today, Mayfair, the Borough's biggest annual festival for the past 45 years, has officially been canceled for tomorrow for the first time ever due to the severe weather forecast. This decision did not come lightly, as the festival is rain or shine just like our market, but the forecast has progressively gotten worse throughout the week, showing sustained winds and gusts of 30mph and significant rain throughout the day.

Unfortunately, due to Mayfair's cancellation, which is a huge deal and truly unprecedented, the market for tomorrow morning will be canceled as well. I spent most of my morning talking with our farmers and vendors who were scheduled to attend, and while it's a major bummer across the board, I do believe it's the right call for everyone involved.

We'll see you out at the market next Saturday, May 30th from 8am–noon!

Happy Friday! We’re ready for week three — are you??

The Oaklyn Food Pantry will be with us this week for their monthly market day, so we strongly encourage shoppers to buy a little extra if it’s within your budget and drop it off at their donation table! They take fresh produce and food donations as well as cash and will be under the Patco in spots 88/89!

One note for this weekend: Misty Meadows Sheep Dairy changed their name so you’ll find them in the same spot as years past, just listed under Salt + Clover Sheep Farm!

Join us first for our 3rd annual People's Produce Parade -- meet at the Collings Ave entrance between 7:45 and 8am, parade the market with us to celebrate our farmers, vendors and community! Cheers to another great market season in the best town around!

Huge thanks to our local farms, food vendors, artists, musicians, volunteers and all of YOU. So many people play a part in making this market as great as it is week after week, year after year and we can't wait to see you all back here for our 2026 season!

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE 🚨

As you may know SNAP/EBT benefits have been restored in New Jersey.

With this great news, we will pause our free voucher program that was created to cover families during the interruption.

However, support at the Collingswood Farmers' Market is still available!

💚 Our Regular SNAP/EBT Match Program Continues!

When you purchase market tokens with your EBT card, you’ll receive Good Food Bucks, which double the value of your SNAP/EBT dollars for fresh fruits and vegetables. It’s an easy way to stretch your benefits while supporting local farmers. ($30 limit for free Good Food Bucks)

🟩 Still Have Free Vouchers?

Any remaining vouchers from the SNAP Interruption Program will continue to be honored through the end of November.

Thank you to everyone who supported and shared this effort - we’re grateful for a strong community that shows up for one another. We raised $15,000 and served over 300 families during the shutdown. Special shoutout to Collingswood Cares, Good Food Bucks, our famers, vendors and all the volunteers!

Hey Borough of Collingswood -- barring any last minute changes in the morning, here's your market map for tomorrow, Saturday, November 8th.

Still plenty of Jersey Fresh foods to go around: fruits, veggies, meats, eggs, cheese and more! Come out to support our local farms and food vendors this weekend and the next two. Our last market of the season is just two weeks away on Saturday the 22nd!

Windy Farm Alpacas will be with us tomorrow only, so visit their spot to see live alpacas and purchase some of their products!

We're in week two of Handmade Holidays, so you'll find a number of artists/makers at the Collings Ave end of the market. Shop for some early holiday gifts, shop for yourself -- just shop!
