SUNFLOWERS AT FARM IN PEACE ARE OPEN!
WE ARE AT PEAK BLOSSOM!
3380 Route 39, Collins, NY 14034
Please read below as this year is a bit different than previous years…

• Sunflower field will likely only be open for 1 week as we are already in peak bloom
• The field did grow stunted, so while the flowers are beautifully in bloom, be prepared… they are short. Most are knee to waist high at best.
• Because the flowers are short, we are not providing any photo props or staging this year. You’ll find paths cut into the blooming field to make it easier to walk through. Sunflowers grew in thicker and a little taller in the area farthest from the parking area.
• No set fees for this year for photography, we appreciate any $ donations you want to leave to help us hopefully break even with the cost of planting. Please leave cash donations in the white roadside farm stand in the slot in the wall. Venmo also accepted and appreciated: 716-474-9899
• Professional photographers welcome this year for no additional fee, we do suggest you consider leaving a donation for using our property for your business.
• THIS YEAR ONLY*** You are welcome to cut sunflowers from the upper field as we have such a short season this year. Suggested pricing $1 per stem (Bring our own scissors if you’d like, we do have a few pairs of shears found in the road side farm stand…please remember to return them on your way out!!!)
• Open dawn to dusk, self serve
• Address: Farm in Peace 3380 Route 39 Collins, NY 14034 (Google maps may try to take you on a side road, but the only entrance is on Route 39) Turn into the property by the enter sign next to the white roadside farm stand and follow arrows to the parking lot at the top of the hill near the upper pavilion
• When you near the top of the hill, we have cones blocking off the area where we keep bee hives. Please do not venture into this area.
• Please do not venture beyond the sunflower field and parking areas.

Any questions, please feel free to give a call to either CJ or Paula:

Upick flowers at Farm in Peace are open!
3380 Route 39 Collins, NY 14034
Open daily dawn to dusk
Self serve....stop by the white farm stand to check all the info and grab a pair of shears to cut with.
Once you cut your flowers, bring them back to the Farm stand and stick the stems in our bouquet sizer (small white board with holes drilled in and prices on it found hanging in the farm stand)
Payments...Cash can be put in the slot in the wall of the farm stand above the shears on the magnetic strip or venmo accepted. Prices range from $8-$22 per bouquet.

The heat has our season off to a late start....both because things aren't growing the greatest and with working in the Peace of the Pie kitchen that has been consistently 90-105 degrees daily, its hard to go home and then continue to work outside in the heat to maintain w**ding and row mowing. We're trying our best, but the heat has gotten the better of us this year, we apologize.

Sunflower field is planted, but again the heat has has been against us. The first round suffered greatly and and likely won't reach blossom, the 2nd round has grown in patchy and uneven. Not sure how they will fair as they continue to grow and race against the w**ds. We will keep you posted if we will have sunflower fields this year.

We have decided not to host our farm, flea, and craft market this year. It’s a decision that took months of talking about before coming to this conclusion. We’ve been working 7 days a week at Peace of the Pie, and it’s been increasingly hard to have any time off as the café has only grown and gotten busier (A huge thank you to all our patrons for your incredible support making Peace of the Pie the success it has grown into today!)

We included our children in the conversation about our markets and they voted if we get the chance to take a full weekend day off, they'd prefer we have a family day instead of a farmer’s market that just makes more work for us all.

Farm in Peace will be open for cut flowers and sunflower fields this year still!!! So stay tuned, we’re still here and excited for a beautiful growing season. (Once it dries up enough to plant the upper field that is!) And we’ve been saving ideas all winter long for some new photo props amongst the flowers. We’ll share updates of farm progress over the season as things get in the ground and growing.

Peace & Love,
Paula, Chris, Charlie, and Joey

Interested in being a vendor at our final Farm, Flea, and Craft Market this coming Saturday 9/28? Our market is open 9am-3pm and this weekend will be peak bloom for our final round of sunflowers as well.
We already have almost 20 confirmed vendors and still have room for more! I'll be posting the final confirmed vendor list on Thursday. Direct Message Farm in Peace on facebook to be added to that vendor list. (walk in vendors will also be accepted the morning of the market!) Vendor set up starts at 7am, must be ready to sell by 9am.
Cost to set up is $10 for a 10x10 outdoor space. Payments only accepted in person the morning of the event to avoid scammers fraudulently claiming they are event managers and taking money early. Vendors recommended to have tents for shade, all tents must be weighed or staked into the ground
Weather forecast looks to be on our side!!!
