This week's Vendor Spotlight is Schmidty's Kettle Corn!

Originally from Columbia, Maryland (after moving here in 2015), Owner, Danny, discovered the Farmer’s Market during COVID and has been a familiar face ever since. For the past six years, he's been serving up fresh, made-on-site kettle corn while becoming a beloved part of our market community.

Today, his business has grown to five farmers markets each week, plus breweries, school fundraisers, community events, and festivals. His next big goals? Purchasing a bus for the business and expanding into fresh roasted nuts.

One of the things Danny and his staff loves most about our market is the people. From fellow vendors who have become close friends, to the retired vendors who helped shape the market, the community is what keeps him coming back. He also loves seeing the loyal customers, the dogs patiently waiting for a few dropped pieces of kettle corn, and the kids who say they wake up excited just to visit his stand.
