A little Sweet Peppers history for your Sunday… 🥪

If you’ve been eating at Sweet Peppers for a long time, you probably know The Blitz. But did you know this sandwich goes back even further than Sweet Peppers?

Before Sweet Peppers Deli opened in Columbus, there was Bulldog Deli in Starkville the deli that helped inspire what would eventually become Sweet Peppers. And one of their signature sandwiches? The Blitz.

All these years later, we’re still making it right here in Columbus — roast beef, turkey, ham, cheese, and all the fixings.

Restaurants change. Menus change. But some things are just too good to mess with!
