In the beginning!
Our little farm started with three horses and the intentions of pleasure riding on the weekends. Then before any one realized what was happening....seriously within a few months time.... we went from 3 horses to 30 free range chickens to a herd of Boer,Boer/Kiko, and Kiko/Nubian mixed goats. Who knows what we may add next cows, pigs, turkeys, or all the above? LOL
Although providing the local community with fresh goods wasn’t the initial plan, it’s a move we’re both glad to be a part of. As our farm continues to grows in size we will start offering more products such as baby chicks, goats (including bottle babies), goat’s milk based soaps/lotions, bee’s wax based chapsticks/candles, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. For now you will always find fresh eggs and honey available for purchase.
Quick intro on the “we” of this farm.
Tony is a native of Commerce who has spent the last 20yrs raising his two boys, owning/operating a local sign business, American Sign Co; and also a certified personal trainer, T-Bone Pro training. Now with both of his boys approaching adulthood he has chosen to spend his days around the farm surrounded by nature and animals.
