It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of a great soul. On the way home from church Sunday, Charlie and Sharon were in a single car accident. Charlie passed away at the scene. Sharon is in the hospital with a lengthy road to recovery. Charlie was a kind person, who was always there to help. Whoever, whenever, Charlie was there. Charlie’s earthly departure has left lots of holes. In our hearts, on our farm, and in our community. Please keep our family in your prayers as everyone starts the healing process in the coming weeks. We love you Charlie.

The greens that came attached to your beets this weekend at market were just so pretty! If you haven’t already, separate them from the beet itself and store separately. But don’t toss them! They’re delicious - cook like you would Swiss Chard!

Gorgeous morning for markets today! We’re here at from 9-12 and the Farm Stand from 10-2! So many choices today, even some of your summer favorites like zucchini, squash, and green beans are in! Plus a new crop of potatoes, cabbage, beets, greenhouse tomatoes and cukes, and of course - STRAWBERRIES! They won’t be here forever so come get them!
