Are you an introvert? Then farming is for you! Hate people? Buy chickens. Don't like making plans? Buy ducks! Don't want people coming over? Buy turkeys! They're loud, they don't smell good, the constant care and cleaning will keep you home, the smell keeps everyone else away! Need a reason to NEVER leave the safety and comfort of home again? Buy goats, give them all your pants, now you can't leave because you don't own anymore pants! Plus the livestock will never judge you for farming and feeding them in your underwear!

THEY'RE PLOTTING!
Recently we have found Miss Darla (white and light fawn) ad her babies and Mr Chato out and eating apple trees and grape vines! Miss Darla found a bottom fence corner she could push with her head, AND HOLD OPEN FOR THE OTHERS! This has been rectified, but she's still !

What....these were the typical Organic Detroit Red Beet seeds, but I guess a sugar beet seed got mixed in?! It's literal...

My lens isn't dirty, and that's not a haze or fog. Smells like an old campfire that got rained on. The photo actually is less hazy than my view which is weird. It's been eerily silent outside since yesterday afternoon. Barely any birds out or making noise. All the animals here are quiet too. Hope they get the fires under control soon, we aren't exactly close, but the effects of it are far and wide. Prayers for everyone in the areas and paths of these fires, especially those fighting them.

Yup. This is exactly it. A farm at sunset will take your breath away too. Like how can you destroy something beautiful, that we need (trees... Oxygen....FOOD) and ask someone to grab the dynamite?

That's what salad should look like. Green, not a lot of big white chunks. But wait, I went through a crazy VINEGAR MAKING PHASE! Yeah, repurposed bottle. Yeah picked the berries n grew n picked the basil myself. Yes I used my own base red wine vinegar for it. Vinegar making is one heck of a rabbit hole y'all, fermentation is a gateway... Next yknow you're pickling everything from beets n eggs, to Lebanese turnips and Spicy Korean turnips.
