Happy Winter everyone! Hope that everyone is surviving with all the snow, but it is time to think of spring and summer and the Farmer’s Market. We are turning in the registration for the days for the pavilion in the north parking lot this week. We will open up on May 21, 2026 at 4:00-7:00 and run every Thursday night until September 24, 2026. Some of the Thursday are the same night as Coopersville’s Music on the Main, so you can pick up you fruits and vegetables, and snack during the music. Looking forward to the snow leaving and to see our customers again this year. We will post more as we get closer to the opening day.

Well today will be the last Coopersville Farmer’s Market of 2025. The volume of customers is just not here since school started to warrant us setting up each Thursday afternoon. So come visit us today or come out to our produce stand at Corgi Acres. 16597 40th Ave. Just north of Gavin’s Orchard.

Some of what we will have at the Coopersville Farmer’s Market tomorrow night. The egg plant will probably be a no for tomorrow though. The market runs from 4:00 to 7:30 at the pavilion to the north of Main St.

Excited that we were able to put out our new sold sign on our corn tonight. Hope to get all of our produce listed on the sign so we can let customers know what we “had” if they had been here earlier. We have also sold out of raspberries. Tomorrow we load up again to go to the Newaygo Farmer’s Market from 2-5:30

Well tomorrow is Music on the Main also it is the start of Summer Fest. We are going to have some new items. Red potatoes, & Red Haven peaches. We will also have our usual, red raspberries, eight dozen ears of corn, delicious red tomatoes, four kinds of squash, raspberry &black cherry jelly, green peppers, hot peppers, green & yellow beans, and a young lady selling sour dough bread. Market opens at 4:00, closes at 7:30.

Thank you to all that came to the farm market last night. It was a wonderful evening and very successful. We sold out all the tomatoes, sweet corn, peachs, blueberries, and raspberries jam. Had just over a pound of green beans and thee pounds of yellow beans left. Some zucchini, yellow, grey squash and one Patti pan squash, a few garlic and two pints of fresh raspberries left. It was an evening of meeting old neighbors and making new friends looking for locally grown healthy produce. Thank you again and we will see you next Thursday night. Same time, same place………..Forgot we also sold out our green peppers and cucumbers, but still had a few pickling pickles. We will load up again today and go to the Newaygo market from 2:00 to 5:30.

Looks like today is going to be a beautiful day for the Coopersville Farmer’s Market. The oppressive heat is finally over. The market will continue under the pavilion every Thursday evening for the rest of the season, 4:00-7:30. Produce for this evening will be: four varieties of squash, cucumbers, pickles, sweet corn, two varieties of string beans, blueberries, raspberries, still working on having peaches (we are between varieties), and fresh dug garlic (which is a hot item right now). Come also to take the water taste challenge. Just about forgot we will have a few tomatoes also. Come early for those!!

Just a word of note. Tomorrow Coopersville Farmer’s Market is going to be in the pavilion instead of on Main Street. Thunderstorms are predicted during the afternoon and for the safety of our venders and customers we think the pavilion is the best option. This week we will have fresh dug garlic, peaches, raspberries, blueberries, four kinds of squash, and possibly yellow & green beans. Still waiting on the tomatoes😒

We would like to thank all of the customers that showed up to last night to the Coopersville Farmer’s Market. It was personally a very successful market for us, but helped show others that there is a need for the market. That being said, more customers bring venders, more vender’s bring customers. It is a catch 22.
