Looking for a simple way to take your corn to the next level? Try this easy 10-Minute Grilled (or Roasted) Street Corn! 🌽🔥

🌽 Easy 10-Minute Market Street Corn
Ingredients:
- 4 ears of fresh market sweet corn (in the husk!)
- 2 tbsp mayo or Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup crumbled cotija or feta cheese
- Fresh cilantro & a pinch of chili powder
- Fresh lime juice

Instructions:
- Cook: Leave the husks on and toss the corn straight on a hot grill (or roast in the oven at 400°F) for 15–20 minutes, turning occasionally. The husks steam the corn inside perfectly!
- Peel: Carefully peel back the husks and silky threads.
- Top: Brush with a thin layer of mayo/yogurt, sprinkle over your cheese, cilantro, chili powder, and finish with a squeeze of fresh lime! 🍋‍🟩

Market Tip: Using SNAP, Double Up Food Bucks, WIC, or Senior Vouchers? You can use your benefits to stock up on fresh sweet corn across our farm stalls!

Behind every fresh produce, fruits, and vibrant bouquet is a local farmer working hard to feed our community. But to thrive, they need a place to connect with YOU—and that’s where our market comes in! 💚

💡 DID YOU KNOW? 🌾🚜

August is National Farmers Market Month, and we’re sharing a fact that might surprise you: According to agricultural studies, conventional grocery store produce travels an average of 1,500 MILES before it ever hits your plate! 🚚💨 (Source: Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture)

That means the fruits and veggies in big box stores can sit in trucks and warehouses for 7 to 14 days, losing flavor and nutrients along the way.

Here’s the Farmers Market difference:
🚜 Harvested Hours Ago: Most produce at our market was picked right here in Oregon within 24 hours of you buying it.
🥗 Maximum Nutrition: Fresher food = higher nutrient levels and unbeatable, sun-ripened flavor.
💵 100% Direct Support: Every dollar you spend stays in our local economy, directly supporting local family farms instead of long-distance supply chains!

When you shop at the market, you get the freshest food possible while keeping our community thriving.

Come taste the difference this Wednesday! 👋💚
