Duycks Peachy Pig Farm

Duycks Peachy Pig Farm We are a family farm providing you-pick and already picked fruits and veggies. Started by Gary and Sally Duyck back in the early 60s.

Gary's sisters help come up with the name Peachy-Pig Farm from the peaches and the pigs that started this family farm. Over the years the farm has grown and added so much more. With the help of their kids, Gary and Sally were able to make the farm what it is today. We are lucky to be able to continue their legacy of running the family farm so their dream of sharing the farm life with other familie

s and future generations to come happens. While you still may see Gary out puttering around the farm, know that many of the staff that you see are one of the 7kids, 19grandchildren, and 6great-grandchildren, along with spouses, as we truly are a family farm. We invite your family out to enjoy this slice of heaven and make memories while picking your own fruits and veggies.

Funday Friday Recipe--Rhubarb Jelly, spring in a jar!! I use 4cups of chopped rhubarb and 4cups water to make the juice, then are that has been boiled and sat for 30min. I measure out 4cups of juice after straining out the rhubarb, adding water and lemon juice if needed to get the 4cups. Then following the jelly recipe and instructions off of the pectin box for the rest and 4 cups sugar. This makes a thicker jelly that I find perfect for most things. Pinterest has other recipes that vary, but this is my recipe I have used for years.
