1. 10 MICRON SEDIMENT PRE-FILTER- Removes suspended solids down to a quarter of the width of a human hair.
2. SCALE REDUCTION FILTER- Protects ice maker from hard water.
3-4. TWO .5 MICRON SOLID BLOCK CARBON FILTERS- Sub-micron filtration that removes chlorine, taste, odor,and chemicals. This polishes the water and improves taste.
