Who else has never seen a begonia flower? 🪴🌺 This is what makes farmers’ markets special— vendors bring things you don’t find anywhere else.

Leslyn of rasmussenfamilyfarm says it took 2 years to get to this point. And it is even more impressive in person! This begonia can even survive our Willamette Valley winters as a die-back perennial.

All meetings should be over breakfast! Visited The Naked Crepe this morning to do some planning with our mouths full.

We both ordered the market breakfast crepe, add shiitake mushrooms, from another market vendor — The Mushroomery. And it’s always fun to spot our lawn signs in the wild.

It was great to see all the families at the market today—enjoying the weather, shopping for weekly groceries, stopping by the Kids Day booths … It was bustling!

Kids Day Wednesday!

What does YOUR weather app say for Weds? We are checking and checking again—and it’s looking 😎good😎!

It’s the first Kids Day of the summer.
That means a free farmers’ market produce item for all kids (toddler and up) thanks to sponsor, Stahlbush Island Farms!

If you aren’t a fan of the heat (🙋‍♀️), shop the earlier hours, stay hydrated, find shade when you need a break … and note our markets end before the hottest part of the day (whew!).
Oh, and don’t forget there is a 💦 splash fountain next to us, on the Jackson plaza!
