Coming Soon! For the past year I’ve been in the lab working on the Dogg Pound Unchained Menu per clients request and tracking macros. This menu focuses on High Protein Whole Foods, Low Calorie, Healthy Fats, Low Carbs, Zero Added Sugar, Low Sodium and is also Vegan and Keto Friendly! Not only does it taste good but I also created some snacks that will trick your mind and help with your sweet tooth that are high in protein and low in calorie featuring ProCream (Protein Ice Cream) Protein Cookies and Brownies, and Acai Bowls!!!

As for the Mr. Lean Meal Prep we will be offering Frozen Meals of the week in our Freezer that rotate on a weekly basis so you don’t get burnt out on the same old meal, freshly prepared daily high protein wraps in zero carb tortillas and salads in our fridges, and we will also have Protein Balls, Rice Cake and Protein Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches, and a lot of other grab and go items! We are here to help you and your wallet keep their GAINZ! We will also be offering customizable meal prep for individuals that are on different journeys. Whether you are bulking, cutting, or wanting to grow your glutes, or just on a fitness journey in general…..we will prep your meals for your individual goals weekly! You get to save time going grocery shopping, searching for recipes, cooking and the cleanup and put that time into other things you enjoy! We are here to help sharpen you! Amanda Strawser

Amanda is a Registered Nurse who works as a clinician at Simply You Wellness & IV Hydration and as a Charge Nurse at The Waters of Covington. She also owns Dwell Property Group, LLC and is a dedicated and involved wife, mom, and dog mom. She made the commitment to herself months ago to begin her fitness journey with our trainer Justin, and her results are amazing! Check out her before and after transformation! She made the time in her already busy schedule to prioritize her health and wellness. We asked Amanda a few questions about her training. Here are her responses:

Justin always asks his clients at the beginning of their journey, “What is your ‘WHY’”?
••Winter is always a depressing time of the year, for me, without sunshine. I figured this was a great time to get started and focused on self-improvement. I always feel better when I prioritize my wellness. Plus, I have influencers all around me on their individual fitness journeys, my son, Jude, my daughter, Reis, and my sister, Hannah — definitely huge motivators in my life.

How did you get started?
••Very impulsively. I saw Justin was running a Winter Arc Training Program special, so I reached out to him and said I’m committing, before I could talk myself out of it. He provided an eating plan, hydration plan, and workout schedule (based around my schedule), five days a week at MAX. Plus, he coached me throughout the entire process, 1:1.

Best advice for those looking to make a change?
••Start now, however that looks for you personally. This is one of the best investments you can make for your health. Training with a personal trainer assures accountability. It’s worth it.

How was your experience with Justin (Dogg Pound Unchained Personal Training) and MAX Fitness?
••Justin, Dogg Pound Unchained, was a consistent energetic, motivator, throughout the process — checking in and encouraging, even when I didn’t see a change on the scale, some weeks, or I would come into the gym, after a draining 12-hour shift, feeling unmotivated. He always challenged me to do more or try harder, which I simply wouldn’t have done on my own.
••MAX is a great environment, the staff is so kind and so positive, the facility is clean, and it’s fully equipped to meet all levels of fitness goals, right here in Covington.

What was your Biggest Gain?
••My ability to do the stairmaster at level 8/9 for 20 minutes. I contribute this to the strength and endurance I’ve developed throughout weight training process.

Here is before and after of my boy Jude Strawser! He is the first teenager to attempt my 90-day Unchained Challenge and he killed it at 14 years old! Weighing in at 212 when we started first week in August and Finished super strong weighing in at 179 lbs end of October for a total of 33 lbs lost! Words can’t express how happy and proud I am of him! I know how hard this is and to watch him day in and day grind and push past his limits is inspiring. Going to school and eating clean at lunchtime and having all those other types of foods in your face daily and be disciplined enough to stay clean and not cheat says something! Going to school, tennis practice afterwards or late matches, late nights on Wednesdays after church….he showed up no excuses! He broke his chains! Way to go Jude! Proverbs 27:17 “Iron Sharpens Iron!” 💪
