Join us at the Crestone Mercantile! This Sat 11-3 for a community soup kitchen! We will be serving up some classics made by Matthew Johnson we've got Chicken and wild rice, a potato and leek (vegetarian), and a beef and bean chili. Also Keefe from Bob's Place Crestone Colorado is whippin up some jambalaya for the party! Come enjoy a free bowl of soup! And tell your friends!

We would like thank the community for the generous donations, we were able to help supplement many families during the shutdown. While the shutdown may be over, hunger never ends, and we have created an easy way to donate to the local food bank in store. Check out our bulletin board for items requested by the food bank if you can help.

Soup kitchen, this Saturday 11/15 at the merc. Free soups for everyone. Leave a donation if you can. We're thinking 11-3. We'll post more as we nail down the logistics.

We'd like to thank the community for the incredible donations regarding the delay in SNAP benefits. These funds will be available starting tomorrow, 11/3 at 9 a.m. To receive assistance, please bring your SNAP card to the store and speak with Matt or Jade Mondays through Thursdays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sign up early so we can understand the needs of each family or individual and allocate more funds as they become available. It's amazing to see this community come together.
