We have new crops of tomatoes and green beans that will be ready for harvest in September. We will be taking orders then.

One of our favorite things about operating the farmstand has been getting to know each of you. We’ve loved the conversations, the familiar faces, and hearing stories of Cross Hill from years ago.

As we head into a new season, we’ll be making a gradual change to our farmstand hours. During August, we will be tapering back to one open day each week — Thursdays from 3:00–6:00 PM.

We will still be taking orders and scheduling pickup times throughout August, and I’ll continue posting what’s available each week.

Beginning in September, we plan to move to orders and scheduled pickups only.

Thank you for supporting our family, our farmstand, and this little community that has grown around it. We truly appreciate every one of you!

Gardening can be unpredictable!

We’re in between a few crops right now, so our selection of fresh vegetables is a little limited this week. Because of that, Farmstand 596 will NOT be opening the stand this week.

We are, however, taking orders for:
Tomatoes
Green Beans
Okra
Peaches

If you’re craving Becky’s chocolate chip cookies or Kerri’s soft dinner rolls, give them a call or send them a message, and they’ll be happy to fix you up!

We had such a wonderful time snuggling our newest grandson, Emre’ Tate, while we were away in Indiana. We’re glad to be back home and are ready to get back to tending the garden. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon!

Even though Farmstand 596 will be closed this week, we’re still taking orders for 10 pounds or more of tomatoes for just $2 per pound—this week only!

Just send us a message or give us a call, and we’ll arrange a convenient time to meet for pickup.

It’s peak tomato season, so now is the perfect time to stock up for canning, salsa, pizza sauce, or fresh eating. We look forward to helping you fill your pantry with delicious, vine-ripened tomatoes!

Farmstand 596 will be closed this week for a very special reason!

Last week, our ninth grandchild was born! We are so excited to introduce Emre’ Tate Wagler, the son of Bruce & Sheila and baby brother to Leo, Monty & Zane.

We’ll be spending the week in Indiana helping to welcome this sweet little one and lending a hand with all the joys (and busyness!) that come with a new baby.

Thank you for your understanding as we take this time with family. We look forward to seeing all of you when we return next week.

If you’re planning to stock your pantry with homemade pasta sauce, salsa, tomato juice, or canned tomatoes, we have beautiful homegrown canning tomatoes ready for you. Crates (20–25 pounds) are available for $50, and tomatoes are also available by the pound.
