We have picked our early Premier Honeycrisp and are on the shelf looking for their new home. These are from some young trees so are limited in supply. Our standard honeycrisp will follow in a couple weeks.

It’s finally here!! 🥳 Rowell’s Apple House will open for our “60th” apple season!!!!

Hard to believe that it’s been that long. Working on the 4th generation and going strong.

We’ll open for business Thursday July 30th.

Our normal hours will be Monday through Saturday 8am to 4pm cst. We are still cash or check only.

We’ll start with these varieties:

Ginger Gold
Gala

As more variety’s mature they’ll be added. I’ll continue to post each week about availability.

Well it’s about that time of year again. Apple season is almost here!! We’ve been working all winter,spring and now summer in preparation for our 2026 APPLE SEASON!!

From pruning January to March. Removing old non productive tree and replanting new trees. Irrigating ( yes that’s hard to believe) from April to May. Thinning (removing the overload of fruit by hand) from May to June( still ongoing). Irrigating again most of June to July. Fighting fire blight,disease, weeds and insects that want to destroy the fruits of our labor, each and every day from the start. We pray for good weather with abundant rain. We pray that hail is never seen or shows it’s been here.

But most of all we pray that we have a good product to offer to those who’ve come to know us over the years. Without you coming to see us and showing you approval, it means nothing. We’re planning another good year and will keep you updated here as time draws closer.

Happy anniversary to our country today that allows us all the comforts we enjoy. Knowing that freedom doesn’t come free. That so many have given the ultimate sacrifice for so many. Thank you to all our veterans, police officers and 1st responders, especially today!! Hope everyone enjoys their day as we celebrate the greatest country in the world today!! God bless and hope to see ya soon!!

I just have to say, our customers continue to blow us away by supporting our home grown business every year!!!

Our 2025 Apple season has come to a close !! As always, it’s a bittersweet as we will miss seeing so many of our regular customer base. It’s always exciting meeting our newer customers and getting to know you as well.

Will be back at work right away preparing for our 2026 season with anticipation of seeing everyone again next year(Aug). From all of us here at Rowell’s Apple House, we say thank you and we wish each and everyone a happy holiday season!!!
