August is when the market feels most alive.

Tables are overflowing with tomatoes, sweet corn, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, summer squash, peaches, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, watermelon, and so much more.

This is the season local farmers spend all year working toward and it only lasts for a little while.

Bring a bag (or two), stroll the market, meet the people who grow your food, and enjoy everything August has to offer.

This Saturday, Steve O’s Pickles is back at the market — you’ll find freshly fermented pickles, onions, and kimchi. If you haven’t tasted them yet, that changes this weekend!

Steve O’s Pickles started as a backyard obsession and became something North Salem can’t stop reaching for.

Alongside Steve O’s, you’ll find summer vegetables at their peak from Chubby Dove, D.I.G. Farm, Fino Farms, Stewart-Watson, and The Hickories of Ridgefield. Fresh bread from Hudson Valley Breads. C***r from Aaron Burr C***ry, rooted in a homestead farm dating back to the early 1800s. Cheese, pasta, meat, flowers, and more — all from people who care deeply about what they make.

Come find us Saturday, 9 AM to 1 PM, Back Street in Croton Falls.

This Saturday, August 1st, come find peak-season tomatoes, sweet corn, peaches, blueberries, and more from the farms that grow this region. Frø is back with their dense, seeded Danish rye bread and pastries alongside Fantzye Bagels — Kingston’s award-winning sourdough shop — freshly baked and ready to restock your week. Neverstill Wines joins us with New York crafted bottles worth bringing home.

Fiddleheads Cooking Studio is here for the kids this week, check out their peach hand pies recipe — a perfect way to taste the season! And La Pompe Attack brings postmodern swing to the market, Grammy-nominated guitarist Doug Munro weaving jazz, bossa nova, and something all his own through the morning air.

Oh, and we may have dropped something new in the NSFM merch world. Come find out what it is.

Summer is full and generous right now.

This Saturday, bring home summer squash straight from the field and cherries while they last — mid-July is their moment, and it passes quickly.

Rain or shine, there’s no better place to spend your Saturday. Come support the farmers and makers who make this market special.

Join us Saturday, July 18, 9 AM – 1 PM on Back Street in Croton Falls.

Rain or shine, the market is on. See you Saturday!

Cherries, summer squash, sourdough bagels, and samosas. July is fully here.

This Saturday, the market is alive with the kind of food that makes midsummer worth slowing down for. Fantzye Bagels — Kingston’s award-winning sourdough shop — is bringing their hand-shaped bagels made without commercial yeast, with schmear flavors that earned them top honors at Bagelfest 2025. LMNOP is here with their warm loaves and pastries, baked with the kind of care that turns a bakery into a neighborhood anchor. And Samosa Shack is back, stuffing Hudson Valley seasonal ingredients into every pocket of dough.

Along the tables, local farmers are bringing in summer squash and the last of the season’s cherries. These weeks go fast.

Come find us Saturday, 9 AM to 1 PM, Back Street in Croton Falls.

This Saturday, July 11, join us 9 AM–1 PM on Back Street in Croton Falls. Brooklyn Granary Mill and Hudson Valley Breads are both back.

Lunch looks like dumplings from Grumpy Dumpling Co., focaccia from Brooklyn Granary Mill, something sweet from Webb & Adam Provisions, and a juice from Freshly Made.

Erik Rabasca plays live — somewhere between Marley and Waits, with a little country and southern rock woven in. Good music for a summer Saturday.

The kids are with Field Future Foundation this week. Come make a market paper bag, vote on what fruit or veggie should go on the 2027 market shirt, and enter to win an end-of-season NSFM gift basket.

Come spend your Saturday with us.
