A little glimpse into the life we’ve been so grateful to build. 🤎🌿🐔

There’s something so special about slowing down, spending time outside, caring for these girls, collecting their eggs, and finding so much joy in the simple things. I never imagined chickens would become such a big part of my life, or that I’d find so much happiness in something as ordinary as a morning in the yard with them.

This little life may not look like much to some people, but to me, it’s become one of my favorite things. 🤎 I’m so thankful for the messy, simple, slow, and beautiful moments that come with it, and for these girls who have made my days just a little sweeter. 🥚🌿✨

🐔🥚 More than just farm-fresh eggs. 🤍

Every carton of Mad’s Happy Hens eggs comes with the best eggs from our happy hens, but it also comes with a little reminder of what this is all about.

These two Bible verses were the very first ones we put into our egg cartons, and they hold a special meaning for us. They remind us where we started, why we started, and who we’re doing all of this for.

“One who trusts in the Lord is secure.” — Proverbs 29:25

“You have filled my heart with greater joy.” — Psalm 4:7

What started as a little backyard flock has grown into something we’re so incredibly thankful for. We pray that Mad’s Happy Hens continues to be a little piece of joy, love, and faith shared with every person who supports us. 🤍🐔🥚

From our backyard to your table — all for His glory. ✝️🤍

We have a new chicken breed finally laying… the Easter Eggers!

Easter Egger chickens can lay an array of pastel colored eggs from blue to green to pink. However, a single chicken will only lay one color her whole life!

Both of our ladies started laying this past week and we got olive green and cream/pink!!! So proud of our girls and regardless of the egg color, they all taste amazing! 🥚🐓❤️🥰
