What a difference two weeks makes! Some seeds like it HOT. I don’t even try to start cosmos before mid June. A certain day length is prefered by many flowers. There’s a temperature, time and amount of light that awakens their tiny little life.

These ruffly wonders are a little tender. One of those blooms that’s well suited for local growing. She looks like the girl next door but you want to use her in an arrangement she becomes a diva. She doesn’t ship well. Needs harvested at first bud crack and she takes a certain kind of hydrating to make her last…but so worth it.

The stand is closed for rain. It will be back tomorrow at 8am. Have a wonderful evening!
