☀️ The heat has been brutal this month and most of the garden has seen better days. The exception of course, our sweet cherry tomatoes 🍅
These little beauties grow with an amazing vigor in just about any condition. Since we have been growing on the farm, we have witnessed this variety survive heavy frost, hurricane winds, sweltering heat, and severe drought ! 😳 The plants grow into beautiful bushes over 4 feet in diameter and can produce hundreds of fruit at a time. They truly are amazing!

Our spring harvest is in full swing, but we’re already planning for the fall! 13,000 square feet of new garden beds have been cut in 😳 They have a few more steps of prep to make it through before their ready to grow delicious produce, so stay tuned for updates! 🌱

I spotted this little tomato plant growing through a crack in the Publix parking lot pavement yesterday. No fancy soil, no raised bed, no fancy watering system (no water at all really in this drought). Just asphalt, car exhaust, and pure determination.
It didn’t wait for perfect conditions; It started growing in spite of them.
That tiny plant is such a great reminder for the hard things we face in life. You don’t need everything to be ideal to make progress. Sometimes you just need to push through with whatever crack of opportunity you’re given and reach for the light.
The greatest growth happens when we show up and keep going, even in the tough spots.
If you’ve been waiting for the “perfect time” to start something that matters to you, let this be your sign. Plant the seed anyway. 🌱🍅
