Our Story
The Corner Kitchen was a dream of mine to offer a fresh and delicious lunch option, that has come to fruition. The dream began with the purchase and renovation of the property where our kitchen resides. The property had been vacant for more than 18 years when I bought it and it was in serious need of repair and attention. With my own hands, and the help of friends and family, the clean up began and with it, a transformation for a long quiet property.
Like the large trees that shade The Corner Kitchen, my roots are deep in Dahlonega. I grew up inside the walls of my family business, The Fudge Factory, on the corner of the Dahlonega public square; a business that I continue to operate today, after more than 35 years. The principles that I learned from my parents of great customer service and attention to quality and every detail, flow though to my new business. I want your visit to our kitchen to be an experience that you go home sharing with your friends and family.
We are a sandwich shop serving artisan crafted sandwiches, fresh sides and amazing desserts. Our recipes are made fresh, from scratch, daily. Our mission is to offer the best quality food, nothing fried. The focus is full flavors and consistent quality. In addition to sandwiches, we offer salads, from scratch hummus, pimento cheese and a frittata and soup of the week. Great for business lunches, or a picnic to one of the many state parks or wineries that surround us, a boxed lunch from The Corner Kitchen is sure to satisfy.
We cater for 1 - 200. We also deliver within the city limits. We look forward to serving you soon!
