This week at Burly Brothers Country Butchery we’re highlighting one of the most versatile cuts around — Flank Steak!

Flank steak comes from the lower abdominal area of the cow, giving it a rich, beefy flavor and a lean texture that steak lovers appreciate. While it’s naturally a tougher cut compared to ribeye or strip steak, the secret is all in the preparation — and when cooked right, it’s absolutely incredible.

🔥 Why we love flank steak:
• Bold, rich beef flavor
• Leaner cut with less fat
• Perfect for marinades
• Great for grilling, fajitas, steak salads, stir fry & sandwiches.. and it’s definitely grill weather ☀️
• Slices beautifully for feeding a crowd

📍 Origin of the Cut:
Flank steak has long been popular in Latin American cooking, especially in dishes like fajitas and carne asada. It’s also a favorite among grill masters because it cooks quickly and absorbs marinades extremely well.

Wow! 🤩🤩

VSP Graphic Group does it once again! It’s always a pleasure working with another family operated business and this project turned out even better than we could have dreamed. We’re so beyond happy with our signs and windows at our new Batavia location! 🤩

And a big big thank you to all of our customers that came out for our first full day open in our new spot! We met so many new people and also got to see some of our OG customers we know and love 🥰

Tomorrow, Thursday the 14th, we will be closed for the first part of the day as we move our store from our current location, down to our new home for the Batavia store! 🤩
