Throwing it waaay back this Thursday with Botetourt Farmers Market longtime vendors Laura & Dean of Hillside Plants & Produce. 🌱

These photos are believed to be from somewhere around 2011-2014, and while the years may be a little fuzzy, one thing isn’t: Hillside has been part of our market family for well over 15 years. 💚

From vegetable plants and hanging baskets to fresh produce, pumpkins, mums, and those famous potato chips, Laura and Dean have been serving the community season after season with the same familiar smiles.

We love looking back at these old market memories and seeing just how much has grown over the years. If you’ve been shopping with Hillside for a while, tell us your favorite thing you’ve picked up from their booth! 👇🏻

TJ Ellis Music part ✌🏻 happening Saturday morning at the Botetourt Farmers Market 9:00-Noon.

☀️ The weather is looking much better this week and TJ is ready to play some tunes for us. 🎶 Come grab a coffee, shop local, and hang out with us for a beautiful Saturday morning at the market.

Over the last couple of years, one thing we’ve really enjoyed adding to the market has been vendor appreciation day. 💚

About once a month, the Botetourt Farmers Market board puts together a little treat for our vendors as a small thank you for all the work they put into the market each week. We always try to support current vendors when choosing those treats, and it’s a fun way to support the businesses that are part of our market.

This weekend, Layman Family Farms kindly provided fresh strawberry donuts for our vendors and they were absolutely delicious! 🍩

We’re so thankful for the amazing community of farmers, bakers, makers, and small businesses that help make the market what it is every Saturday.
