Tips for a great market trip:

🥕 Arrive early! Our farmers can sell out, and some vendors offer preordering if you can’t make it to the market first thing.

🥖 Remember, there’s plenty more than produce at the farmers market! Our other local food vendors are still here, so come stock up on bread, hummus, baked goods, prepared foods, and all your other favorites.

🌻 At Fair Park, our farmers have had to cancel for the rest of September, but our food vendors are still cooking! Come support local and make a day of it in this beautiful park. Texas Discovery Gardens, the Natural History Museum at Fair Park, and the Children’s Aquarium are also open, making it a great weekend outing.

Our last Fair Park Farmers Market before the State Fair is September 20, but we’ll be back November 1 to continue bringing fresh and local to South Dallas!

A taste of local 🌻🥕

Good Local Markets is a Dallas nonprofit bringing producer-only farmers markets to our community. That means every vendor grows, raises, bakes, or makes what they sell—no resellers, no imported goods, just genuinely local food and handmade goods from within 150 miles of Dallas.

For 18 seasons, we’ve worked to support local farmers and small businesses, increase access to fresh food, and create spaces where our community can connect directly with the people behind what they buy.
