Todays the day, after almost 34 years of continuous family ownership we’re passing Fernald’s on to its next chapter. We are all so grateful to have had the opportunity to work along side such a wonderful community and watch you all grow with us! Thank you, thank you, thank you! ❤️🥰🥪

Big bittersweet news coming your way…Yesterday the Save Fernald’s Campaign officially hit their fundraising goal!

This really puts things into motion on our transition. Fernald’s will be closing this Saturday 2/3 for a brief period. Upon reopening the new owners will be at the helm.

We are very pleased to see this team come forward that will strive to keep this special place alive and well for many more years to come. Fernald’s is a lot more than your average sandwich shop, it’s a long standing institution that provides a welcoming space to slow down and take it all in.

It has been an absolute privilege to be part of something so special. I was only two when my folks originally opened Fernald’s just up the street. I grew up immersed in community and now again for this past decade I’ve had the great opportunity to operate this special place. Thank you all for being a part of something that means so much for so many.

I look forward to seeing this next chapter of Fernald’s and what it may bring. I believe that the shop will be in good hands and shall continue to flourish for many years to come. Congratulations to all!

Update; OPENING AT 11! Mr fix it fixed it!

‼️No breakfast service today‼️It’s a delayed start at the shop today, shooting to be open at 10:30. Our cooler technician will be down this morning, if it’s a quick fix will be open soon after. We’ll keep you posted here! 🙃🥪🎉
