✨ Vendor Spotlight: Highway Homestead ✨

Some vendors bring products to market.

Highway Homestead brings a way of life.

Founded in 2020 and joining the market in 2021, Cortney Black and her family offer products that all began with a simple question: What does our own family need and use?

From their Guernsey milk cow comes raw pet milk, butter, and yogurt. You'll also find organic elderberry syrup kits, artisan goat milk caramels, goat milk soaps, whipped tallow face cream, sleepy time magnesium butter, herbal salves, and more. In recent years, Cortney's daughters have even begun contributing homemade granola and baked goods to the family business.

And if you stop by their booth, don't be surprised if you leave with more than a product.

As Cortney says, there's a story behind just about everything they bring.
What she loves most about the Dandridge Farmers Market isn't just the food, it's the people.

A passionate advocate for local agriculture, she believes that local food is some of the best and most nutritious food available. But more than that, she values the community that makes local agriculture possible. Some of her closest friendships have grown from relationships built right here at the market.

Behind it all is a simple purpose: supporting their family farm. Every purchase helps fund fencing, feed, and the day-to-day operations that keep the farm going.

🥛 Raw pet milk, butter & yogurt
🍯 Organic elderberry syrup kits
🐐 Goat milk caramels & soaps
🌿 Whipped tallow face cream, magnesium butter & salves
🍪 Homemade granola & baked goods

We're grateful to have Highway Homestead as part of our market family and for the passion they bring to supporting local agriculture and community.

📍 Stop by and say hello—you'll likely leave with a product, a story, and maybe even a new friend.

🌿 Vendor Spotlight: Graised Pastures 🌿

Meet Travis and Makenzie Gordon of Graised Pastures, bringing pasture-raised poultry and handcrafted pet treats to the Dandridge Farmers Market.

For the past 5 years, Graised Pastures has been committed to raising poultry with care and intention. What began as just 30 birds per batch has grown into more than 400 birds per batch today—a reflection of both hard work and the growing support for local farming.

At their booth, shoppers will find some of Tennessee’s only pasture-raised poultry supplemented with organic, non-GMO, corn-free, and soy-free feed. From whole birds to individual cuts, Graised Pastures offers thoughtfully raised products customers can feel good about bringing to the table.

They’ve also recently introduced Liberty’s Choice, a line of raw freeze-dried pet treats for dogs and cats, handmade on their farm using the same high-quality chicken they proudly raise.

What Travis appreciates most about the market is the strong sense of community among local farms, producers, and the customers who continue to support them.

Be sure to stop by and visit Graised Pastures this Saturday at the Dandridge Farmers Market.
