Hello everyone! Here are some final updates on Food for Thought as we wrap things up. Everything is on sale, and all sales are final. If you have any gift cards, now is the time to use them!!

Hours will be reduced to 11-5 (11-3 on Saturdays). We will be closed next Tuesday, but you can find me across the street at the Purple Hippo!

Food for Thought's FINAL day is Friday, June 13th. I have the space until the end of June, so if you're interested in any furniture, let me know!

Hello everyone! Everything in the shop is 30% off ticket price until the end of May. I'll be open the first week or 2 of June (depending on stock/work schedules) and sales will ramp up to 40-50% off all stock. Again, I'd like to thank everyone for all of the support over the past 2 years and recently in light of the shop closing ❤️ I've had the best customers, and Danville has been a lovely place to set up shop in.

Shop hours will be a bit limited over the next few weeks as things wind down. This week, I'll be closing at 3 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday to help get ready for and celebrate the wedding of our good friend Dame from the Purple Hippo across the street and his fiance Laura! Congrats to the lovely couple!

Unfortunately the shop will be closed today 😕 if you were in this week you may have seen me hobbling around. I threw my back out and sitting/standing is making it feel MUCH worse! Sorry for any inconvenience!

It is with a heavy heart and after much deliberation that I have decided to close Food for Thought. This hasn't been an easy decision to make and I am so greatful for this journey that I've been fortunate enough to take over the past 2 years. Danville has welcomed me with open arms and I'm so blessed to have been able to pursue this business. I've met some of the most amazing, kind, and supportive people during my time at Food for Thought, and I'd like to thank you for not only your business, but in many cases, your friendship as well.

While opening and running this business has been an incredible experience and I wouldn't trade my time here for anything, business ownership is not my calling. I previously worked with kids before opening the shop, and I deeply miss it! My future lies somewhere in early childhood education.

The shops' projected closing is mid to late May. Everything in the shop is currently 20% off. Keep an eye out in the coming weeks for more sales!

Zhou Plant Complete is fully stocked at the shop! Zhou is a tasty vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, pea and rice-based protein powder with ZERO added sugar! Available in chocolate and vanilla flavors (my personal favorite is vanilla with a tiiiiny bit of honey added when I'm craving something a little sweeter 😋).
