SAVE THE DATE: 2026 REV UP PITCH COMPETITION! APPLICATIONS GO LIVE MONDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2025
Danville Pittsylvania Chamber of Commerce is pleased to open the application process for businesses in the City of Danville and Pittsylvania County to participate in the REV UP Pitch Competition!
This year, REV UP has been revamped so that businesses at any stage of their journey can participate! Are you a new entrepreneur looking to gain momentum? Are you a seasoned business owner that is looking to expand your offerings? Are you somewhere in the middle and need a boost to get you to the next step? This program is for you! There will be opportunities to pitch for cash grants, brick and mortar locations, specialized consulting packages, and MORE!
By applying for REV UP, you will be joining an immersive program focused on entrepreneurship. Regardless of your years of experience, you will be provided education to enhance your current skills and develop new ones as well as dedicated time to learn how to pitch and prepare for your presentation. You will be paired with a mentor specifically tailored for your needs and professional development. Community events will be scheduled to provide you with opportunities to get your fellow community members to see your business and support you along the way as well as networking opportunities in different capacities to continue to highlight yourself as a business owner and entrepreneur.
Applications are due by January 5, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and staff will follow up with you as needed. Applying to participate in the pitch program does not guarantee acceptance nor does it guarantee that you will receive any of the prizes offered as it is a competition and will be judged accordingly. If you have pitched in the past, you are eligible to pitch again. Requirements must be met to be considered for REV UP.
This program is a partnership between Danville Pittsylvania Chamber of Commerce, Danville VA Office of Economic Development & Tourism, Community Investment Collaborative, Pittsylvania County, and The Launch Place, and American Legion Dan River Post 1097.
