The wait is over, Danville 🌿🔥

Opening Day of the Danville Farmers Market is HERE and the Green is about to become the place to be tonight.

Think live music drifting from the gazebo, food trucks serving up dinner, kids running between lawn games and bounce houses, fresh flowers and produce everywhere you look, and that first real taste of summer in Vermont.

Come hungry. Bring your friends. Stay awhile.

✨ Opening Day Activities:
• Face painting
• Children’s Museum of the NEK activities
• E-bike demos with Lamoille Valley Bike Tours
• Lawn games, music, local shopping & more

Tomorrow’s the day 🌿☀️

The Danville Farmers Market officially returns tomorrow and we could not be more excited to kick off another season on the Green!

Come shop local vendors, grab dinner from food trucks, enjoy live music, and bring the kids for opening day fun including a bounce house, face painting, lawn games, activities from the Children’s Museum of the NEK, and more.

People always ask - where can you park?

Parallel parking is available around the Town Green. Additional parking can be found behind the Methodist Church, in the lot next to Town Hall and in the lot behind Passumpsic Bank (all of which take 2mins or less to get to the green). If overflow parking is needed, the field behind the Methodist Church can also be used. In the case that all downtown parking is full, you can park at the Danville School and walk down to the farmers market via the sidewalk along US Route 2. There is also public parking at the Congregational Church on Hill Street and at Hill Street Park.

What about accessible spaces?
There will be special handicap parking marked with signage and cones in the parallel parking spaces in front of the Pope Library as well as across the street at town hall. There is also handicap parking in front of the post office, that is available after 5pm.

Sustainable growing practices ensure that everything they produce nurtures both the land and local ecosystems.

Their commitment extends beyond the farm through the Giving Garden, an initiative dedicated to increasing access to fresh, nutritious food for local families and supporting area food programs. Through farming, education, volunteer opportunities, and community partnerships, Charlene and Brett are helping cultivate a healthier, more connected Northeast Kingdom, one harvest at a time.
