It has been one month since severe storms caused significant damage to the County Market store in Danville, Illinois. We would like to provide an update to our customers and the community on our recovery efforts.
Since the damage occurred, we have worked diligently with our landlord in an effort to secure the substantial repairs necessary to safely reopen the store. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, those critical repairs have not been guaranteed, and the building cannot safely reopen in its current condition.
As a result, we have made the difficult decision to permanently close the Danville County Market location.
While this is a disappointing outcome, the safety of our customers and employees must always come first. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand the impact it will have on our loyal customers, our dedicated associates, and the Danville community.
We want to express our sincere gratitude to all of our loyal customers. It has been a privilege to serve the Danville community, and we are thankful for the trust and support you have shown us over the years.
