Happy Pride Month!!🏳️‍🌈
For June's Round Up at the Registers, we’re supporting the Davis Phoenix Coalition, a nonprofit that exists to engage and unite the Davis community in eliminating intolerance, preventing hate, and promoting a broader civic culture that embraces all aspects of our diverse community. Their goals include expanding outreach and visibility efforts, creating an LGBTQ+ resource hub, and establishing a dedicated community space in Davis that provides support, services, and programs for those affected by intolerance and their allies.

Organic Bing Cherries from Heartwood Farms and Organic Apricots from Free Spirit Farm are available this week!

Heartwood Farms is a family-owned farm located in the heart of California’s number one cherry county, Linden, CA. Operating for over 100 years, they specialize in growing cherries, apricots, and walnuts. They emphasize sustainability in their farming and are committed to biodynamic, organic, and regenerative farming practices.

Unfortunately, weather impacted this year’s crop reducing the cherry harvest at Heartwood Farms by more than half. Thankfully, the cherries that made it to market are ✨incredibly✨ delicious and you must try before the short season is over!

Free Spirit Farm, located in Winters, CA, has been growing organic vegetables, fruits, and berries since
2008 under the care of farmer Toby Hastings. Nestled along Putah Creek and operated through a creative land-leasing partnership with Sierra Orchards, the farm cultivates 12 acres of seasonal crops with a focus on
biodiversity, soil health, and sustainable farming practices.
