It is Farmers Market Thursday! We got wiped out of baked goodies with our farmstand opening this week so we pumped out as many fresh baked goodies as we could... including:

It's farmers market day! 🪕Jim Allander will provide sweet tunes this afternoon in the Solidarity Garden.🕰️ Hours and location: Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026 from 3:30pm-6:30pm at 60 Second Ave. and Hwy 50. 🍅🫛 Fresh-picked produce, all kinds of baked goodies, local crafts, honey, farm fresh eggs, and the comfort of knowing where your food comes from.

Perfect for school lunch boxes! Choose from juicy yellow peaches, nectarines, plums and more at the Healthy Communities' booth. After shopping local, pull up a chair and listen to music by Jim Allander in the Solidarity Garden, located next to the market. Hours: 3:30pm-6:30pm. Location: 60 Second Avenue & Hwy 50.

Stone fruit discount today for those who bring their kids to the market! Today, Thurs. Aug. 27, 2026 between 3:30pm and 6:30pm, we’re offering a discount on stone fruit, perfect for school lunch boxes. Choose from pluots, peaches, nectarines, cherries and more at the Healthy Communities booth. When your child comes along to choose their favorite stone fruit today, the price will be 50 cents less per pound. We also have free children's books today, donated by the Dayton Library, and a free tote making activity with HCC's Alisha Moss. Bring an old t-shirt to repurpose into a school or market bag, or choose from of the t-shirts we'll provide for the craft.
