Daytona has never really been known for any outstanding or creative food. The only places to eat are either have overpriced corporate food that you can find anywhere or overpriced unappealing food like french fries and chicken tenders or mediocre pizza by the slice. Away at college, she was introduced to the world of food trucks and thought to bring it back to her home town. Daytona should have mo
re locals who are passionate about making incredible food for their businesses instead of mass producing the basics and only making profits because the people have no other option. We want to change the food scene in Daytona Beach and we want to do it unconventionally. They said they "do not license food trucks because food trucks are notorious for only attracting vagabonds and vagrants." We want to prove them wrong so we are getting a state license instead. We’ll admit it, our food is great and it will attract people from every walk of life. We love the beach that we grew up on so we will only be using biodegradable throw aways and anything that can be recycled will be recycled using the recycling bins that we provide. We believe in paying employees a fair and livable wage which we believe to be substantially higher than the current minimum wage. It is important to us to treat our employees well if we are ever to expect our employees to care about not only our business but also the customers they serve. The Daytona Beach of the 80’s and 90’s is all but gone but the city has been making great strides to attract more business and the city has been steadily regaining its reputation as an inviting tourist destination. Help us move Daytona in the right direction with a locally owned business that cares about Daytona. So bring us your vagabonds and vagrants and anyone else who wants to have a great sandwich near an amazing beach.
