Hi guys—it’s noon—we are at the Dearborn Trex—-BUT—-some one is in our space so we cannot hook up our fans—-and as ya’ll know it’s HOT HOT 🥵—-so I’m going to do my best to be here till 2–but if you need that big juicy melon 🍉 for the weekend you might want to go ahead and come on out—when I reach critical mass and overheat—I’m headed home…😂😂🤣

Crooked Country will be out Saturday Sep 5th from 7-11am in Platte City Farmers market right by the courthouse. Then at the Dearborn Trex from 12-2pm. I have HUGE beautiful Black Jack watermelons (25-30lbs), tomatoes, canary melons, okra, bell peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, onions, new potatoes, eggs, jams, and a fresh harvest of honey for the fall!
To all of my regular Crooked Country Customers—-due to the extreme heat I have limited amounts of almost everything—-so if you have your heart set on something please come out early—I’ll likely run out of everything tomorrow before it’s done.

Crooked Country will be in Platte City Saturday August 29th from 7-11 and at the Dearborn Trex from 12-4. Big News! This week I have about 25lbs of fresh GREEN BEANS in quarts(the cooler is over flowing), tomatoes 🍅 , all kinds of beautiful peppers 🌶️ , eggplant 🍆 , zucchini, cucumbers 🥒 , a little okra, onions 🧅 , a few watermelons 🍉 , 🍯 Honey, jam, 🥚 eggs, and kombucha teas.——-come on out and get some fresh delicious produce while it’s still here.

Crooked Country and the big orange wagon will be in Platte City on August 22 at the farmers market by the courthouse from 7-11am. Then we move to the Dearborn Trex from 12-5. This week we have a little of lots of things—watermelons, cantaloupes, honey dew, canary melons, tomatoes: Romas, heirlooms, cherry, and big beautiful red slicers. We also have cucumbers, picklers, zucchini, eggs plants, and a few green beans and okra. Also several kinds of hot peppers , bell peppers, and onions. We have local honey, 26 kinds of delicious Amish jams, and even some home made goodies! Come on down and see us!

We will be out this morning August 15th at the Platte city farmers market from 7-11 and then at the Dearborn Trex from 12-5. Today we have sweet corn, watermelon, cantaloupes, tomatoes , egg plant, peppers 🫑, cucumbers, yellow squash, okra, eggs, honey, jams, and kombucha teas. Come on out and get some summer fresh stuff.

Crooked Country is going to be at Platte city tomorrow Saturday August 8th from 7-11am and then at the Dearborn Trex from 12-5pm. We have lots of good stuff this week. Tomatoes ( red Duce, heirloom, Roma’s, and cherry), watermelon(black diamond), cantaloupe (Athena’s), green beans, yellow squash, zucchini, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers (regular and burp-less), eggs, honey, jam, fresh salsa, flowers, and kombucha teas. Come on out and grab some fresh stuff for the weekend!

Crooked Country will be in Platte city at 7-11am by the courthouse—and then at the Dearborn Trex from 12-5pm. We have lots of sweet corn this week! Only a couple weeks left— you can get a 5doz bag for $40 if you pm me. We also have big Black diamond watermelons, Aphrodite cantaloupe, tomatoes, bell peppers, green beans, cherry tomatoes, Roma tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, new potatoes, eggs, honey, kombucha tea and all the jams!
