Mealor Family Gardens We are Urban Farmers ... a Certified Naturally Grown Market Garden near Decatur Just outside I285. It's ALL about the SOIL!

Mealor Family Gardens is located in Decatur's Glen Haven neighborhood, off Covington Highway .. We are Certified Naturally Grown (naturallygrown.org) urban farmers, and take great pride in providing fresh, sustainably grown, vegetables, fruits and berries. We make our own compost on site from spent brewery grains( from Twains), veggie scraps, leaves, hay, sawdust, wood chips, etc -- and we never u

se pestisides. Come see us at the Decatur Farmers Market, (located in Downtown Decatur beside Decatur High School, across the street from the Chic-Fil-A). We also offer a 1/2 or whole share CSA membershi[, (community supported aggriculture), starting in May. Call to set up a time to come see the farm, whether you want to purchase produce or not, it's always nice to meet people that are interested in farming, and "The Good Food Movement". What do you get when you take tomatoes from D&B Farm and Livestock, Mealor Family Gardens, and our own garden, as well as jalapeños from Blackbird Farm, add in some of our garlic and Elderflower shrub concentrate, along with a couple of other ingredients?

We will have sweet corn again in a couple weeks ...hopefully, our second crop of Figs and raspberries by mid-August
