Fresh Cut Monday! 🐟
Beautiful fresh halibut just came through the door! Watch Johnathan cut this halibut perfectly for the display case.

Easy Lemon Garlic Halibut
Ingredients:
2 halibut fillets
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Place halibut fillets in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.

Mix melted butter, garlic, and lemon juice.

Pour over the halibut.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Garnish with parsley and serve.

Here's how we make it:
-Peel the shrimp
-Boil in salted water
-Ice them down to lock in freshness
-Store them cold
-Stack them high in the case!

Happy Thursday! 🌊☀️

Pops just got in beautiful local cobia! One of the best fish for blackening — mild, flaky, and packed with flavor!
🔥 Blackened Cobia Recipe:
• Pat cobia dry and coat lightly with olive oil or melted butter
• Season generously with blackening seasoning!
• Heat a cast iron skillet until medium hot!
• Sear cobia 3–4 minutes per side until blackened and flaky
• Finish with fresh lemon juice and serve with rice, coleslaw, or roasted veggies!

Today is all about celebrating one of the true hearts of Pops… OMAR THE MAGNIFICENT! 👏🦀🐟

For over 15 years, Omar has been a part of our Pops family, and there truly isn’t anything this man can’t do! From helping customers with a smile, cooking up delicious seafood, cleaning lobsters, prepping and cooking crabs, handling restaurant orders, and doing whatever needs to be done to keep Pops running smoothly… Omar does it ALL.

His hard work, dedication, and loyalty to our family business never go unnoticed. He shows up every single day ready to work hard and help however he can, always with that signature smile that our customers know and love.

Today we got to turn the tables and thank him for everything he does for Pops and our family. ❤️
