The most often asked question of late has been “How is the Bakery coming along?” Over the past few months, the answer has greatly varied. It’s been rough. We have had some serious set backs, delays and unforeseen circumstances. At times, it has been bring-me-to-my-knees-devastating. But, as anyone who knows me, I do not give up on something I believe in and I believe in the bakery with all my heart and soul. I am thrilled to announce that my tenacity has paid off and we have secured enough funds to get back on track. We are full steam ahead and ready to complete the work on the bakery. Unfortunately, the funding isn’t a cure all. The set backs and delays have wrecked havoc on our cash flow. I am reaching out to my friends, family and fellow DeLandites to help me keep this dream alive, not only for me, but for my boys as well. Opening this bakery is what I was meant to do and we are so close to realizing its completion. Any amount of a donation will greatly help achieve our goal.
