Well, to say that we are behind on posts for the 2023 season would be an understatement!!!

So here is the summary, accurately captured in the picture below.

-Planting season went smoothly once we got in the fields
- The irrigation gun in the background reflects the much needed water the plants required at crucial times between Mother Nature’s beautiful rains 🌧️
-There has been a lot of crop scouting happening to ensure the potatoes are growing well and getting what they need

We are gearing up for harvest and excited to be bringing some fresh grown taters to a dinner table near you very soon!! 🥔

About us:
Norfolk Potato Company

We are a Potato Farm that grows, washes and packs potatoes. We aim to grow the best quality potatoes we possibly can and take great pride in what we do. We are 100% Canada GAP compliant which is our food safety certification.
This job requires grading potatoes at an inspection table, putting potatoes into various types of packaging for retail and wholesale use, putting packaged potatoes onto skids, installing bags onto baggers. You may have to lift 50lb bags or boxes. This is a seasonal job from approximately end of July to end of October. We harvest potatoes and bring them to the packing shed to be packed and shipped out to grocery stores across the province. We need dedicated people who understand that the job needs to get done to make orders on time. This is very much a team environment where everyone needs to work together.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Salary: $18.00 per hour
