John's Church in Delhi, and finally to its present location, where it has grown into a full-service whole foods and specialty foods storefront. GOOD CHEAP FOOD is committed to making good food available at reasonable prices, marketing locally grown and produced foods, and providing information on food and health issues. The store sells bulk foods, including nuts, seeds, dried fruits, grains, pasta

s, flours, herbs and spices; packaged goods, including products for special diets; personal care items; and vitamins. We offer discounts of bulk and case orders and we special order for customers. The store specializes in supplying organic produce throughout the year; during the Catskills growing season produce is largely local. We also sell local dairy products and locally raised, chemical-free, pastured and grass-fed meats. If you come to browse, you will find a scattering of books, toys, jewelry, and local crafts, as well as home-made soups from our next-door neighbor, The Quarter Moon Cafe, and a few tables where you can sit and sip and browse a book.

Think dumplings for dinner! Luca got delicious ingredients from Good Cheap Food including Thai curry sausage to make an authentic Thai Laab that we scooped into lettuce leaves and enjoyed immensely. He made homemade dough for dumplings and stuffed them with tofu, kale, ground meat, and vegetables. We are grateful for the initiative and had such a delightful meal. Happy early Valentine’s Day! We just got tinted moisturizer from Heaven On Main Street that your sweetheart will love in the shop. Such a luscious face cream for winter complexions up here in the Catskills.

Magpies will arrive by 2pm, and will be delivering:

SOUR CHERRY-ALMOND PIE: NY state sour cherries in an all-butter crust and topped with almondy crumble. red, tart, and festive for the holiday! comes in small and large, and freezes great!
CHOCOLATE-COVERED STRAWBERRY PIE: crunchy chocolate crust, rich, whipped chocolate mousse filling with a hidden layer of fresh strawberries and a few on top for all the lovebirds out there. comes in small and large, and freezes great!
LOCAL CHICKEN POT PIE: local chicken, smoked bacon, mushrooms, carrots, celery, onions, garlic, and thyme in an extra flaky double butter crust. Comes in large size only, frozen. Serves 4 for dinner! magpies_on_pinkstreet
