We are one day away from the Brimming Horn Meadery - Yule Market 2025 at The Brimming Horn Meadery in Milton, Delaware. It's going to be a fun time complete with an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest afterwards. You won't want to miss this one!

Dear Friends/Family/Customers: I am sorry to announce that Nana Barb's Artisan Soaps will no longer be in business effective immediately.

We have taken a loss every year we have been in business. Despite some lovely customers, we just can not afford to continue without raising prices. People already complained that our prices were too high. The market is saturated with other soapmakers. The last few events we attended had 1 or 2 other soapmakers at the exact same event. Many sell inferior quality products that contain sulfates and parabens, but that doesn't seem to matter.

Meanwhile online stores charge up to $22 for a bar of soap like our Colloidal Silver bar, where we only charged $10 and were told that was too high. We just can't continue to take losses like this.

Do you understand the State of Maryland charges us 6% sales tax on all sales regardless of if we pass that on to our customers or not? Do you understand vendors have to have licenses for every jurisdiction they serve? Do you understand we get charged extra when you use a credit card?

All existing ingredients are now up for sale. There are hundreds of silicone molds, Essential Oils, sulfate and paraban-free bases. Reach out if you would like to purchase some or all of the existing soapmaking equipment and materials. I can arrange an in person walk through.

P.S. Grandpa Rich's Jams will still be attending events, for now. This effects Nana Barb's Artisan Made Soaps only.
