As many of you have read in a former post, Wayne was starting training for a new career, he's a few weeks in but still has a lot more to go. (the farm isn't the main career for either of us). We have this farm because we felt called to buy it, and everything we have done here, is because of The Lord.
With Wayne being gone all week long, I have been doing my best at managing the farm and the market, while working my job, and trying to enjoy summer with our 3 children. I've only worked a few shifts in the last couple months, because thankfully I had a great market crew to take care of the day to day, but I still had a lot of planning/managing, and things to do.
With that being said, I'm making the choice to close the market down after this Saturday, August 8th, temporarily until the beginning of September to take the last few weeks of summer break to just slow down a little, and spend my time focusing on my children and making memories with them. It's been a tough decision to make, but it's one I feel is needed.
Be ready to come see us in September to start our Fall season. I love all things FALL. We are looking forward to lots of apple picking, pumpkin picking, sweet potatoes, pole beans, all the winter squash, and much more that we have to come!
We will continue to share updates, and let everyone know the exact reopen date, and our modified hours for fall once everyone is back in school! As always, thank you all for an incredible spring/summer season - we can't wait to reopen and see yall soon!
Be sure to come out today & tomorrow to get some of OUR delicious summer produce! We still have OUR peaches, watermelons, sweet corn, potatoes, and more!
We are here 10am - 6pm today & tomorrow!
