Here’s what’s on my mind this morning.
Do not read this if you’re not interested.

Happy Thanksgiving. While November is the National Month of Gratitude, today is a National Day of Mourning. Please pause for a moment, as you gather and celebrate, to reflect on a past that encouraged the abuse and demise of original people who looked upon this great land with respect and humility while invading migrants stole their homes and executed their loved ones. Imagine the wonderful world that could have been if those invasive people acted with love, respect and understanding of the natural world and people different from themselves. Please recognize this National Day of Mourning and pray that we can overcome our selfish and destructive instincts that demonize people and things we refuse to take the time to learn about and understand.
Today is also the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. There can never be enough said about this. Please acknowledge the selfish behavior and hubris that allows the violence to continue.
Peace, Kindness and Love be with you.
