allmigo™ proudly sold its first product on April 1st, 2017. We acknowledge this as the day we became people for food allergy safety™. So why did a busy dad with a family of five start a food production company? In 2016 our founder Russel Braga set himself on a mission of love to create allergy friendly food products for one of his three daughters who is anaphylactic to peanuts. We recognized that the food industry needed a little help with meeting the needs of families like ours. Our own family has struggled for years trying to find wholesome and tasty foods that are safe to eat and free from the common food allergens. Our founder’s daughter Natalia is also allergic to milk, eggs, shellfish, and she suffers from peanut cross–reactivity to lentils. Label reading and phone calling for straightforward answers about potential allergenic food ingredients is a daily struggle for families like ours. Russel’s wife also suffers from gluten intolerance due to an autoimmune disease she was diagnosed with years back. When making family meals based on our dietary restrictions became a challenge for her, our founder helped her by developing gluten free recipes that are also free from the top 8 allergens. He also enrolled in culinary school at night to learn new skills and became the chef for the family while working full time during the day. One day in 2016, Russel learned from his wife that certain food companies were introducing peanut flour to some of their product brands not generally associated with peanuts and that were favorites of Natalia. That day Russel figured out that the food industry needed a little help with competition. He decided to become part of solving the problem that families like ours face daily. As an outward sign of love for his daughter Natalia and his family, he founded allmigo allergy friendly foods, llc, a company committed to food allergy safety using back to basics ingredients. We are essentially people for food allergy safety™ producing the food products we like to consume.
