I am working on a recipe "book" for using various The Gourmet Cupboard mixes. Many are simple. For example a tsp/tbsp of any of the dessert mixes mixed with cream cheese for a flavored cream cheese...think key lime cream cheese. I hope to have this available at our next few shows. I would welcome any suggestions you may have created.

We are gearing up for the busy holiday season. As many of you know I am always trying to find different ways to use the gourmet cupboard mixes. This week I FINALLY tried the taste like more tomato soup. It was quite tasty. Thick and rich. As I am the only one who will eat it, my mind began creating. It is a thick soup. It would also make a great marinara sauce, just use any leftovers.
Another idea place the soup mix, the crushed tomato and water into a blender. Add 1/2 cup cream (more or less to taste). You now have tomato bisque soup.
Finally, assemble as directed. Soup mix, crushed tomatoes and water. Add half of block of cream cheese, 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella and 1/2 cup of chopped pepperoni. Bake until all cheese is melted. Viola, hot pizza dip. The above recipe is approximate based on amount of soup you are using.

Sauce - Melt Butter, Brown Sugar, and Garlic Powder

Bundle together your beans (bout 8-10) and wrap with Bacon. Brush with sauce, cover, and bake at 400 for 35 minutes. Then uncover and bake for another 10 to crisp up the Bacon :) Enjoy!!

Look out Lubbock we will be in town this weekend at the Funky Junk round up. Sampling some great dips and mixes. Not sure what we will be cooking up but we will definitely have some of your favorites on hand. Beer bread, chicken enchilada soup, mexican meatloaf and jalepeno dip to name a few.
